Miles Apart is an app for couples on iPhone and Android, built especially for long-distance relationships. You and your partner pair your accounts and share one private space with a daily challenge you both complete, 22 games and 14 couple quizzes, love letters delivered by a carrier pigeon that flies the real distance between you, a shared memory map, a streak that grows a plant, and home and lock screen widgets.

Miles Apart is made by Vent AI Inc., a US company. It launched on the App Store on August 28, 2026, and on Google Play in September 2026.

No. It was designed around long distance, where a small daily ritual matters most, but it works for any couple who wants a daily moment of connection: busy schedules, opposite shifts, or partners who simply like playing games together.

Yes. Miles Apart is on Google Play for Android 9 or later, and on the App Store for iPhone with iOS 17 or later. An Android user can pair with an iPhone partner: accounts, challenges, games, letters and memories are shared across both. The iMessage extension is the one iPhone-only feature.

English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. A few word games, like Trivia Ladder and Definition Bluff, use English questions.

Yes. Miles Apart is free to download, and the daily challenge, streak, memory map and many games are free. An optional Miles Apart Pro subscription unlocks every game and every quiz level, the reflection quizzes, any Date Night deck, and unlimited plans and countdowns.

Pro unlocks all 22 games and every level of every quiz, the reflection quizzes (Love Language Test, Attachment Style, Communication Style and more), the Spicy Questions and What Haven't You Told Me? quizzes, choosing any of the 11 Date Night decks, and unlimited shared plans and countdowns (free accounts get three).

Yes. If either partner subscribes to Miles Apart Pro, it applies to both of you.

Prices vary by plan, store and country and are shown in the App Store or Google Play and in the app before you buy. Pro may include a free trial, and the app reminds you two days before a trial ends.

Subscriptions are billed by the store you bought from. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Miles Apart and tap Cancel Subscription. On Android, open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions, Miles Apart, and Cancel subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Coins are Miles Apart's in-app currency. You earn them by completing the daily challenge, quizzes and games, and spend them on little gestures: hugs and kisses, flowers, love letters, mystery gift boxes, streak companion pets, and restoring a lost streak.

Each person gets an invite code. Send your partner your invite link (it looks like milesapart.app/invite/ followed by your code) or have them type your code in the app. If they install Miles Apart from your link, the app picks up the code automatically on first launch.

Yes. Miles Apart is a shared space for two, so each partner installs it on their own phone, iPhone or Android, and pairs with the other.

Disconnecting your partner doesn't delete anything: your memories stay saved. You can also delete your account entirely from inside the app.

Every day you both get the same challenge: three quick multiple-choice questions, one written question (plus an optional bonus), and a photo prompt such as showing today's outfit. Your answers stay hidden until you've both finished, then reveal together. The question bank has more than 1,400 prompts.

No. Each of you completes the challenge whenever it suits you, which is what makes it work across time zones. Your couple shares one daily reset time, so the day is the same for both of you.

Each day you both complete the challenge, your shared streak grows, and so does your plant, through 13 stages from a first sprout on day 3 to full bloom on day 120. You can name the plant and adopt streak companion pets with coins.

You can bring a lost streak back with Streak Reignite, using coins or an in-app purchase.

There are 22 games for two, many of them daily: Guess the Word, Word Match, Groups of 4, a daily Mini Crossword where you compare times, Trivia Ladder, photo jigsaws, Photo Roulette, Two Truths & a Lie, Skyline Guesser, Pin Pals, and quick races against your partner's ghost like Powder Dash and Moo Dash. Ten games are free, including Guess the Word, Word Match, Groups of 4, Mini Crossword and Photo Roulette.

Fourteen, including How Well Do You Know Me?, Get to Know Me, Would You Rather, Who's Most Likely?, Our Firsts, Let's Talk About Us, Are We Endgame?, Deal Breakers and Is This Cheating? Date Night is a set of 11 conversation card decks with 343 cards, for calls or visits: Is This Cheating?, What Would You Do?, Read My Mind, Our Past, Future Us and more, plus an opt-in Spicy deck. Free accounts get one seven-card Surprise session a day; Pro lets you choose any deck.

Write a letter, decorate the envelope, and a carrier pigeon flies it across a map from your location to your partner's. It arrives after a delay based on the real distance between you, and your partner gets a notification when it lands.

A mystery gift box can hold a letter, scratch-to-reveal photos, a voice note, an Apple Music song and a hand-drawn bouquet. It's delivered by pigeon, like a letter.

Flowers in Miles Apart are in-app gifts with a note, not physical deliveries. Your partner sees them the next time they open the app.

A private map you share with your partner. Pin the places that tell your story, each with up to 10 photos, a caption and a date.

Choose a frame and filter, then each of you takes four photos, together or apart. The strip develops into one shared keepsake once you've both finished.

On iPhone there are five: your partner's latest daily challenge photo, a live shared drawing (iOS 26 or later), the distance between you (Lock Screen), how long you've been together, and your next anniversary. Android has home screen widgets too, including shared drawings, photos and countdowns.

Yes, on iPhone. From Messages you can send a hug, your next-visit countdown, a drawing from your gallery, or start one of 13 quizzes.

Only your partner. Location is used while the app is open to place you on your shared map and to show the distance between you, and you can set your city by hand instead of sharing GPS.

You can delete your account from inside the app. Read the Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
